Exploration of Bioplastics: A Review

چکیده
The marvellous and versatile properties of synthetic plastics make them an indispensable part human lives. But in the recent years, plastic pollution has become biggest environmental concern for whole world globally. Environmental distress over associated with a rising debate fossil fuel dependence abatement have brought attention researchers towards finding suitable alternative to i.e., bioplastic. Bioplastics are specially designed lower carbon footprint, less dependent on natural resources, energy efficiency, safety sustainability. These bio-resources based polymers which potential substituting conventional petroleum-based plastics. This review article summarizes need developing eco-friendly plastics, bioplastics, importance bioplastic, advantages bioplastics current trends production bioplastics. It also highlights types various sources variety bioplastic materials such as starch, cellulose, chitosan, chitin, polyhydroxyalkanoates, polylactic acid, Bio-PE, Bio-PET, Bio-PBS, etc., their synthesis, applications biodegradability. A comparative analysis both bio-based term availability, nature, structure, thermal stability, biodegradability, tensile strength, etc. been highlighted.
